Absences/Make-up Work:

Attendance in class is essential to the successful completion of the course.  Students returning from absences are responsible for completing missed assignments promptly.  It is the student’s responsibility to get the make-up work upon returning to the class. The number of make-up days to complete assignments is equivalent to the number of days excused absent. Remember, if the absence is unexcused, the student will not be allowed to make that work up for a grade. The student only has 3 days to turn in an excuse slip upon returning to school for it to be processed.

Handbook/ Dress Code:

All county and South Paulding High School policies (including dress code, tardies, and electronics use) will be enforced.

CELL PHONES AND OTHER ELECTRONIC DEVICES ARE ONLY PERMITTED WHEN BEING USED FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES, AS DECIDED BY THE INSTRUCTOR. UTILIZATION OF SAID DEVICES OUTSIDE OF THAT PERIOD IS AN AUTOMATIC ADMINISTRATIVE REFERRAL.

Late Work Policy:

Late work will receive a 10-point deduction per day that it is late. I will take late work up to a week after the original due date. If the work is not submitted within the week it then becomes a zero with no chance of makeup or recovery. Please email me with any further questions on this matter (ahuff@paulding.k12.ga.us).
